RE: jetteson.com status update
Dear Pixel Fiend:

jetteson is currently under reconstruction after the destruction of its previous concept early last month.  The layout remains unfinished, however, will still be updated as the site is being redefined. I posted a self portrait that I used in a presentation today for my first Japanese class.  More Japanese based content will flow into the site as learning the language inspires some of the projects.  Hopefully, I can clean up the site by the end of the year, especially with my last final tomorrow, I should have a good amount of time to play around.  MV hooked me up with a tablet, so I’ll be posting some “learning to work with a pen” art. In addition to pen-fun, I have some older works that are dated, so I will back date those posts when I originally finished/stopped working on them.

My best guess is that you’ve stumbled upon this site by accident, since it isn’t advertised or listed anywhere special.  I’m hoping you stop back to see more of my works, maybe even bookmark me–OMG.  It is possible that the random works on this site have you thinking, “Who the eff is this person?”  jetteson.com has transformed into a variety of different blog styles since its conception in April 2004 and its major revision ends up in this current ever morphing site you have visited today.

jetteson.com is my mind’s jettisoned creative works that range from rough draft displays to months of refinement to the point where I have to let it go or start taking OCD medication.  After piles of papers, tucked not so neatly around my place and massive amounts of MBs started accumulating, I decided that I needed one place to collect all of my creations, stored for the years to come as a view of my progression in thought and expression.

Having this nearly accurate time line progression is key for me as I consider myself more about the process rather than the end result.  Being able to look back and see what I have created and where current projects sit will help me gain more of an appreciation for the final result. I can’t wait to see what will be happening 30 years from now, it will be amazing to look back at years of creative development.

I hope you enjoyed my food for thought.  Drop me a line or a comment if you thought something especially enjoyable or offensive. I especially enjoy others’ interpretation of what the work might mean, it adds so much to the process for me.  Since I’m too lazy to build a contact form, remove the “REMOVE” from my email address to reach me.  I hope you enjoy this project as much as I enjoy its continually development.

One love,
Abram Deslauriers
